The Digital Transformation Conference emphasized today’s Emerging IT Trends and The Impact

Digital and Internet revolution has gathered pace in the last two decades and is transforming not only our personal lives and business functions but also providing significant impetus to national economies. We are already seeing a huge shift in moving towards semantic web intelligence, vast computational capability, ‘big data’ visualizations, predictive insights and connectedness on a grand scale.

The good old email is under threat of being replaced by Instant messaging, tweets and social networks. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram and YouTube are changing the way we connect and communicate. Intermediaries, comparison sites and on-line retail sites like Amazon.com, eBay, Flipkart, Snapdeal.com have become a part of our everyday life. Smarter, cheaper and ‘always on’ devices are available in all shapes and sizes connecting us to global networks where businesses are conducted and personal connects established.

Technologies that shape our personal interactions are now in the workplace, changing the way we work. Collaboration, co-creation, ideation and crowd-sourcing technologies are blurring organizational boundaries by providing superior customer connects, enabling smarter and connected workforces.
