SPEL Semiconductor Ltd (SPELS) announced its Q1 FY 2017-18 results:

• Revenue of ₹12.04Crs, up 15% compared to previous quarter Q4 of FY 2016-17
• EBDITA-adjusted ₹ 87L, up 70% compared to previous quarter Q4 of FY 2016-17
• EPS-diluted-adjusted (0.30), improvement of 33% compared to previous quarter Q4 of FY 2016-17

SPEL’s Board considered the Unaudited Financial Results for Q1 FY 2017-18. The Sales improvement in is due to various proactive measures like focusing on newer segments / geographies & tighter cost controls.
Continuous improvement during the past 3 quarters substantiates Company’s recovery path, however due to implementation of GST from Jul 1, 2017, Working Capital management of the Company has come under severe strain, which could have near term impact on Revenue. Promoters have again showed their commitment by extending additional Financial support to the Company during this critical phase.
