SPEL’s Board considered the
Unaudited Financial Results for the Q1 FY 2018-19. Sales was ₹4.53
Crores compared to ₹ 5.9 Crores from Previous Quarter. Loss for the
quarter was ₹ 3.92 Crores as compared to ₹ 7.5 Crores.
The lower Sales was mainly due to the raw material procurement issues
arising out of RBI’s sudden decision to ban LOUs, which resulted in
disruption of our procurement chain. Promoter has brought in enough
funds to overcome this issue, the results of which will be seen in the
coming months.
With Customers continued engagement, reduced overheads and improved
sales, Management is looking to close FY 2018-19 with improved
financials.
