SPEL’s Board considered the
Unaudited Financial Results for Q1 FY 2021-22. The Company reported
decrease in Sales (₹0.86) compared to the previous Quarter (₹2.32)
Crores This has resulted in loss of ₹3.58 Crores compared to loss of
₹5.60 Crores in the previous Quarter.
The above negative results were in part due to the covid 2nd wave
related lockdown & mainly due to labour unrest encouraged by certain
fringe parties. This affected production to a great extent. Management,
with the substantial assistance of Promoters, put forth settlement of
the troublesome workforce and separated them from services of the
Company.
